What is Liquid Ammonia processing (L.A.F)
The treatment can help to improve the strength and durability of the cotton fibers, making the final product more resistant to wear and tear. In some cases, liquid ammonia can also be used to remove sizing agents (e.g. starch) that are applied to the cotton fibers during the weaving process. This can result in a softer, more comfortable finished product with better shine and durability compared to non L.A products.
